Met Office issues yellow weather warning for rain across Stamford, Rutland, Bourne, the Deepings, Spalding and Grantham




The Met Office has warned heavy rain could cause flooding across the area.

A yellow warning for rain, which covers the whole of England, has been issued.

The warning is in place from 3pm today (Saturday, February 17) until 6pm tomorrow (Sunday, February 18).

Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, as well as some interruption to power supplies and travel services, the Met Office warns.

Spray and flooding on roads could make journey times longer.
