Bluebird Care Stamford and Rutland take part in a ‘Year to Remember’ to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society

A home care provider is taking part in a ‘Year to Remember’ to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society.

Throughout the rest of 2021, staff at Bluebird Care Stamford and Rutland will take part in a variety of activities to raise funds, build awareness and take action for a charity that is very close to their hearts.

The majority of Bluebird Care Stamford and Rutland team members are Dementia Friends, helping to make small changes in their daily work so that people affected by dementia feel understood and included.

She said: “It shows a real determination to unite against dementia, by signing up to our Year to Remember campaign.

“We are looking forward to hearing the many plans Bluebird Care Stamford and Rutland have to help raise awareness, money and support so people living with dementia, their family and carers don’t have to face it alone.

“Alzheimer’s Society is here for anyone affected by dementia. Our Dementia Connect support line has trained dementia advisers on hand to offer advice, practical and emotional support and signposting to other local services where relevant."
