Braceborough fundraiser Keith has head shaved for Alzheimer's Research

A fundraiser has had his ‘hippy’ hair chopped off for the first time in aid of charity.

Keith Busfield, 64, had his head shaved by partner Sue on Thursday in a bid to raise much-needed cash for Alzheimer’s Research.

The organisation had been chosen as the charity partner for this year’s Burghley Horse Trials, which has now been cancelled.

Keith, from Braceborough, said: “Hopefully the photos will put a smile on someone’s face.

“I think I’ll be needing to keep my dark glasses on for anonymity’s sake! Plus a hat to stop me from getting burned alive.”

The self-confessed “ageing hippy” previously told this newspaper that he wanted to help the charity as he personally knew people affected by the disease.
