Delays on A1 near Stamford

Drivers are facing delays on the A1.

Traffic is queuing on the A1 southbound near Stamford this morning (Wednesday, March 27).

Google Maps is reporting there to have been a crash in the area while AA is yet to release any information.

The queues are between Wothorpe to past Tickencote.

Pleas to improve the A1 continue as National Highways bosses have been accused of ‘burying their heads in the sand’.

Update: The road is now open.
