Is it possible to meet with a solicitor? Hegarty's Ask the Experts column

Is it possible to meet with a solicitor at this time?

At Hegarty Solicitors, due to the current coronavirus situation our offices are now only open for essential pre-arranged appointments, as long as social distancing rules are followed, to ensure the safety of both our clients and staff.

However, our staff are still available via phone, email and video call if you need advice or assistance at this time.

Our solicitors have used video conferencing for some time to meet with clients, however since the coronavirus lockdown was imposed, we quickly adapted to using this as the sole method of meeting our clients face to face.

If you need to arrange a meeting with a solicitor, we can arrange a video call with you via Microsoft Teams.

You don’t need to have a Microsoft account to join a Teams video call, you can join easily as a guest and your solicitor will send joining instructions.

During the call you will be able to see and speak to your solicitor as you would in person.

Of course, we do also continue to speak with clients via phone and email, and nothing can compare to meeting our clients in person, however we are pleased to be able to give our clients options for meeting with a solicitor, especially during this time.

If you would like to speak to a solicitor, please contact us via our website www.hegarty.co.uk/contact-us or e-mail enquiries@hegarty.co.uk.
