Jules House in Oakham to hold support and advice sessions
Jules House in Oakham is holding free monthly drop-in sessions to provide help, support and advice for parents in the area.
The sessions take place on the first Thursday of every month from 9am until 10am.
The drop-ins are open to couples, single parents, experienced mums and dads, and first timers.
They are designed for anyone who feels they need help understanding more about their child’s behaviour, as well as those who want a bit of assistance improving relationships within their family.
The sessions are run by experienced professionals who can offer impartial tailored support and advice.
There will also be the opportunity to share stories and experiences with other parents who are in a similar situation.
Coun Richard Foster, portfolio holder for Children and Young People at Rutland County Council, said: "We’re really pleased to be able to offer these sessions to local people.
"Parenting isn’t easy and we all need a bit of help from time to time.
"These drop-ins are about providing free, professional support in a safe, friendly environment. "Whether you’ve got a specific concern or just need a bit of informal advice, we encourage parents to come along."
