June Fox elected new Rutland County Councillor for Exton

June Fox (Conservative) has been named the new ward member for Exton following a local by-election yesterday (Thursday).

June was elected with 238 votes and will serve as a Rutland County Councillor until the next round of normal elections in 2019.

The results were as follows:

Claire Alison Barks (UKIP) 39 votes

Joanna Mary Burrows (Lib Dem) 123 votes

June Fox (Con) 238 votes ELECTED

Former Exton ward member and council leader Terry King resigned in January for health reasons.
