Latest coronavirus figures for South Kesteven and Rutland
Coronavirus cases have dropped in the past week, despite restrictions easing.
In South Kesteven, 297 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the seven days leading up to yesterday (July 28).
The seven-day infection rate for the district stands at 245 per every 100,000 people compared with 331.4 last week.
No new deaths have been recorded in South Kesteven in the past couple of months.
The seven-day infection rate for Rutland stands at 285.5 per every 100,000 people, down from 388.2 on Sunday, while the national average is 376.5 per 100,000 people compared with 490.5 at the weekend.
A total of 101 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Rutland in the past week.
The first death from Covid-19 in nearly three months was sadly recorded in Rutland at the end of last week.
A total of 84,300,153 vaccinations have been administered across the country, with 88.3 per cent of adults receiving their first dose and a further 71.1 per cent having had their second.
