One of Stamford’s premier law firms is expanding as it merges today with a solicitors based in Oakham.

Hegarty LLP merges with Paul Browne Solicitors today, bringing a third office and 11 members of staff into its fold.

Hegarty has a lot to celebrate as two new partners - Harry Smith and Andrew Hornsby - have also been appointed, while Jo Wild, who specialises in wills,trust and probate, has also been promoted to associate.

Paul Browne Solicitors in Oakham is known for providing quality legal services to the people of Rutland for almost 18 years.

Principal, Paul Browne first set up his practice in 1997 having practiced in Nottinghamshire for 18 years, a number of which were spent as a partner at Marchant and Co (now Marchant Solicitors).

Having built a reputation for going above and beyond to achieve the best results possible for his clients, Paul’s practice grew organically through word of mouth referrals and client recommendations.

For Oakham clients this brings access to Hegarty’s breadth of legal experience.

For Stamford clients this further strengthens the firm’s dominance locally.
