Man arrested following two car collision in Bourne suspected of drink driving




A 27-year-old man arrested following a two car collision in Bourne is suspected of drink driving, police have revealed.

The accident took place in Spalding Road at around 6.50pm on November 25 and involved two Audi A4's.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and released under investigation while investigations continue.”

Police said two people had been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

"At 6.50pm we were called to a two car collision on the A151 Spalding Road in Bourne," said a spokesman.

"An ambulance and air ambulance attended.

"Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

"The road was closed until around 11.30pm."

Lincolnshire Fire and rescue said crews from Bourne, Deeping and Spalding attended.

"The crews assisted the release of one trapped person using a ladder and made vehicles safe using small tools."
