Emergency services called to West Street in Bourne following reports of an injured man




A man is being treated by emergency services after apparently injuring himself.

Police, paramedics and an air ambulance were called to West Street in Bourne at around 11.30am.

Community policing inspector for Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings, Inspector Ian Martin, said: "It appears the man has caused injuries to himself.

"There's nothing untoward and there is no wider impact to the community."

The man has been checked over and will be taken to hospital by road.
