Met Office as it issues yellow warning for snow in Stamford, Oakham and Bourne

Snow is forecast and the Met Office has issued a weather warning for the second time this week.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for parts of the country, including Stamford, Bourne and Oakham.

It lasts until 2pm on Friday.

The Met Office advises that roads and railways are likely to be affected.

It issued a similar warning earlier this week but barely any flakes fell.

Now, the forecast is for sleet and in Stamford, there has been some light snowfall but it's not settling.
