Met Office issues 'Yellow' warning for snow in Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings

The Met Office has issued a 'Yellow' warning for snow in the Rutland, Stamford and Bourne areas tomorrow morning (Thursday, February 27).

Sleet and snow is said to be coming between 8am and 10am, with the warning in place to remind people that travel may be more hazardous and take longer.

Met Office advice for motorists is to take warm clothes, food, water, boots, a torch and spade, and let someone know when you expect to arrive and your route.
