Mother and baby boutique JoJo Maman Bebe to open in Stamford next week
Mother and baby specialist JoJo Maman Bébé, is set to open a new store in Stamford on Saturday, August 25.
Based at the former Pia store in High Street, the new store will stock the full range of quirky and imaginative baby and children’s collection, nursery products, gifts and toys. Customers will also be able to try out JoJo’s scooter range which will be displayed on a scooter wall.
There will be lots of exciting activity to celebrate the opening of the new shop; JoJo will be giving away goody bags to the first 100 customers who spend in store on the day, and will also be giving away hop-a-long bunny balloons on Saturday, August 25, and Sunday, August 26.
Facilities in store include a baby changing room and customer WC. The new JoJo store team will be on hand to help, they are given in-depth training at JoJo’s head office in Wales and really understand the needs of new parents.
Laura Tenison, founder of JoJo, said: “Young families in Stamford have been asking us to open a JoJo store for many years and we are delighted to finally be able to fulfil their requests!
"Our lovely boutique on the High Street will offer everything you need from pregnancy to pre-school including gorgeous gifts and practical products.
"Our teams will be longing to meet you and your ‘bump’ or young family, get to know you and hopefully be your helpful go to store for advice, assistance and a friendly chat.”
Laura said she hoped the store would become a "destination shop" for parents and grandparents, as well as the place to go for new baby gifts.
Laura added: “Our JoJo stores are so much more than just children’s fashion stores. We offer dozens of brilliant little ideas to help make life as a parent easier and our well trained teams will be happy to advise you on every stage from pregnancy to pre-school. ”
Laura said JoJo, which launched about 25 years ago from Laura's parents in Wales, had been looking for a location in the town for about 10 years.
Since it was founded, it has grown and now has more than 90 stores, as well as trade sales to 50
countries.
