Motorcyclist killed on A15 North Road in Bourne after crash involving Audi A4

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the A15 North Road, Bourne, this afternoon (Friday).

Police were called at 2.23pm to a collision between a car and a motorbike. The accident has happened between the end of the built-up area of North Road and Cawthorpe Lane.

At the time police said he was believed to be seriously injured but have said tonight the sad news that he died at the scene.

The motorcyclist was riding a Kawasaki when it was in collision with an Audi A4.

Road closures were in place from North Road at its junction with Mill Drove and the A15 near to Dyke Lane. The road reopened at around 9pm.

Anyone who saw the collision or either of the vehicles before they collided, of believes they may have dash cam footage is asked to call police on 101, with reference number 266 of 21 June.
