New cabinet role at SKDC

Councillor Helen Goral (Con) has been appointed cabinet member for Growth and Communications at South Kesteven District Council following the resignation of coun Mike King (Con), who has stepped down for personal reasons.

Coun Goral, formerly the cabinet member for Communications and Engagement, said: "I would like to thank Coun King for his dedication and commitment to his cabinet role and for his work on preparing the South Kesteven Local Plan, which is now at an advanced stage.

"I am looking forward to the challenge ahead in my new role and am confident we will continue to deliver for the residents of South Kesteven."

Coun King will continue to represent his constituents as the Conservative member for the Toller ward.
