The Sugar Mill in Bourne is hosting a Disney themed quiz on Facebook to raise money for Little Miracles
A newly-refurbished pub has launched a fundraising partnership with a children's charity.
The Sugar Mill in Bourne completed its refurbishment project just as the country found itself at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Landlord Tom Bellis had pledged his ongoing support to Little Miracles, a charity which supports children with additional needs.
Despite having to close the business as a result of the coronavirus lockdown, Tom is standing by his promise and will host an online Disney quiz this evening (Sunday, April 5) to raise vital funds for local families in need.
He said: "Little Miracles is a fantastic charity which helps children and families who need it the most.
"We watched an online quiz at the weekend and it raised £100,000 in an hour and a half. We hold a quiz at the pub every month anyway so we might as well follow exactly the same format."
The Disney quiz will be streamed live on the Sugar Mill's Facebook page at 4pm on Sunday (April 5)
A suggested donation of £1 per player can be made at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/biglittlemiraclesonlinequiz
Money raised will help the charity to continue during the tough months ahead.
Little Miracles supports around 400 families across South Kesteven with a range of social activities and emotional support.
For many parents the meet ups are a lifeline so it will be a difficult time as they are forced to rely on technology and social media instead.
It takes a village to raise a child.
