RH Prints open studio event in Ketton will support businesses in Stamford and Rutland

An artist has organised an event to help other independent business owners bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic.

Ruthie Hudson, owner of RH Prints, will be hosting an open shopping event at her studio in Ketton.

It will feature a number of products including clothes, art and cosmetics curated by people in Stamford and Rutland.

“A lot of the trade fairs independent businesses would have been attending this year have been cancelled, resulting in a loss of income for many local creatives.

“The open studio event is an opportunity to support local independent companies, shop small and find something unique rather than mass produced,” said Ruthie.

It will also serve as an official opening for Ruthie’s new studio in Unit 19 at Chater Business Estate.

The event will take place on August 15 between 10am and 3pm as well as on August 16 from 11am until 4pm.
