Distraction burglary in Morton

Police have warned people to be vigilant after a distraction burglary took place in Morton on Monday.
The incident took place in Station Road at 4pm when the occupant was distracted by a man walking up his drive who claimed to be looking for gardening work.
The occupant then realised another man had walked in to his house as he’d left the front door open.
The two men then left with another man a blue Volkswagen Golf registration AE53 RVP.
Anyone who sees the above vehicle should call 999 immediately quoting incident 431 11/06/18.
