Zero Limits Car and Motorcycle Parts in Bourne to close
A popular independent motor retailer in Bourne will be closing its doors for the final time on Friday (August 9).
Paul Hutchings is closing Zero Limits Car and Motorcycle Spares for health reasons.
The business is based in one of the business units on Victor Way off Cherryholt Road.
Mr Hutchings said: "It's just a real shame.
"We're quite a community-based business and we have been really well received by the local community.
"I've been here for about 10 years but unfortunately I can't find anyone to take it over.
"It's one of those things where we will have to close.
"I'm unable to withstand the strains and stresses of running the business anymore sadly."
Paul, 50, who lives in Rippingale and previously served in RAF, said he started the business up in 2009 after he was unable to find a 10 amp fuse from any shop in Bourne.
He started up the shop two years ago after being an online business, and before that, catering for motorcycles.
"Bourne is such a good market because we don't have a Halfords like Stamford," he added.
"There's a really good community spirit in Bourne and we've had some really good customers over the years.
"They should be very proud of themselves that they have supported a local shop.
"They could have gone online to get it but they came in to buy it from here.
"I'd like to thank them for their support over the years.
"It's very much appreciated."
There is a little stock left such as bulbs, grease and other small items and they will be discounted by 50 per cent until Friday.
The racking, shelves, computer desks and filing cabinets are also up for sale.
