Post Office to launch outreach service in Kings Cliffe
Post office services will be restored in Kings Cliffe.
The postmaster for Thrapston will run a temporary outreach service from 47 West Street, Kings Cliffe, on Tuesdays from 1.30pm until 3.30pm.
The service will start next week but it is hoped the Post Office will be able to find a long term solution.
Post Office spokesman Anthony Bayley said: “We are pleased to be able to re-instate the service as a temporary hosted service while we continue to seek a permanent solution.”
The village branch closed last September following the resignation of the postmaster.
To accommodate the new service there will be some minor changes to the current hours of the hosted post office services offered at Loddington. Its post office will now run from the village hall on Wednesdays from 12.30pm - 2.30pm.
