The Railway Inn at Ketton appears on a charity greetings card for the NHS

An artist has captured an iconic scene from her village pub to create a greetings card.

Josette Carroll has painted the old bicycle which stands outside The Railway Inn at Ketton.

The project gave her a new focus after the Rutland Open Studios event was cancelled this month because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Josette has been taking part in the exhibition for the last 12 years by opening up her home gallery to the public and had planned to take part again this year.

She has always wanted to paint the pub's old bicycle and decided to turn her artwork into greetings cards which are now being sold to raise money for the NHS.

They are available to buy from the Railway Inn, which is open for takeaways, and Ketton Post Office costing £2 each.
