Montaz in Bourne to raise funds for Bangladesh
Sitting down for a meal out will help raise funds for families who have lost their homes.
Indian restaurant Montaz in Bourne will be hosting a fundraising evening.
The money will go to families in Bangladesh who had to flee their homes due to flooding.
Dozens of people have died while millions are stranded.
Owner of Montaz, Juned Ahmed, known by most as Rahin said: "People have no homes and there are a lot of people dying without proper water.
"If you look up Bangladesh you will see the devastation. I heard about it, researched it and found out how it's affecting people and I felt I should help them.
"If it gives 10 people food for a couple of days it will help."
People wanting to book a table or find out more should call 01778 423555.
A donation box will also be in the restaurant for anyone unable to attend the fundraising evening on July 24.
