Raj of India in Stamford to reopen after unexpected closure
A restaurant which was forced to temporarily close is reopening today.
The Raj of India in All Saints' Street, Stamford announced on Tuesday last week (January 31) that it had to close due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
At the time the management team said in a post on social media the restaurant would be 'closed until further notice'.
However, engineers have since visited the site to fix the problems, allowing the restaurant to reopen.
In a Facebook post, the management team said: "We would like to apologise for keeping you all waiting and hope to resume services back to normal.
"Thank you for continuing to support your local Indian restaurant Raj of India."
The Raj of India will reopen to customers tonight (February 10).
