Staff from Starbucks at Wittering Service Station litter picked along the A1 in support of our Waste Warriors campaign
Coffee shop staff have been litter picking around their workplace to help keep the area tidy.
Three employees from Starbucks at Wittering service station spent a day picking up rubbish from the paths and green areas between the store and the village.
It was part of the company's global month of good campaign. It takes place every April when staff are encouraged to volunteer in their community.
Store manager Kirstie Chapman said: "A number of our store partners who live in Wittering use the footpath to walk to work and had noticed the amount of litter and broken car parts which had collected along the busy A1 road.
"We wanted to do our bit to make a difference so decided to tidy up the area so that local residents and our customers can enjoy the beautiful countryside."
The team are the latest volunteers to receive the Mercury's Waste Warriors seal of approval.
We're celebrating the efforts of people like this who take pride in their area and spend time clearing up after litter louts.
