Historic book written by Nigel and Caroline Webb

A Rutland couple have published a new biography which was well-received at its launch party.

Nigel and Caroline Webb, of Langham, penned Mr Sugar Face and His Moll.

It tells the story of George Webb Medley and his wife Maria including pre-abolition Jamaica, holidays in the Rhine, playing chess with world-class players and making his fortune on the Stock Exchange.
