Rutland personal stylist wears pink in aid of cancer research
A personal stylist used her skills to host a fundraising event for cancer research.
Katie Crowe supported the national Wear It Pink campaign in her home village of Manton.
She was inspired to support Breast Cancer Now after three of her close friends were diagnosed with cancer this year.
Katie gave a presentation on how people can choose the colours which suit them most before serving pink drinks, cakes and sweets to her guests.
She said: “The charity is very close to my heart. Two of my friends have finished their treatment and are doing well and the third is still undergoing her treatment. One of them came to the event and she was really chuffed.”
The pink day raised £170 for breast cancer research.
