Rutland Society of St George holds 41st annual dinner at Greetham Valley to celebrate patron saint




The Rutland Society of St George held its 41st annual dinner with 100 members attending to celebrate St.George's Day.

The incoming president Richard Gibbs was installed by the outgoing president Peter Gray.

This was followed by good food and readings by Peter Gray, Barry Thrower and Bruce Strickland. Roger Rowell accompanied the excellent community singing from the keyboard.

Members said the evening proved there were people who "believed in England and our patron saint".
