Twenty Twenty Hair in Oakham is named the best salon in Leicestershire and Rutland in the Muddy Stilettos awards

An Oakham salon was the only Rutland business to claim a title in this year’s Muddy Stilettos awards.

Twenty Twenty Hair was named salon of the year for Leicestershire and Rutland just two years after opening.

It is owned by Vicky Smith and Ashlee Mears, who first met as students at Stamford College.

They trained and worked together for 16 years before opening their own salon in Crown Walk, Oakham.

Vicky said: “This award has come as a complete shock to us.

"We are blown away by the support from our clients, old and new.

“Having only opened four weeks before the start of the pandemic, this award means the world to us.

"To be named the top hair salon in Rutland and Leicestershire really is a dream come true.”
