Easter trail to raise money for Langtoft Primary School




An Easter trail will take place around Langtoft this weekend in support of the village primary school.

Twenty-seven wooden carrots will be displayed in gardens around the village.

Entrants can buy a map from the village store and follow a trail to collect letters and solve Easter-themed anagrams.

The last clue, sited at the village cross roads, will be a musical QR Code.

Completed entry sheets can be returned to the village shop and exchanged for an Easter treat,

Three hundreds maps are available priced £2.50 each, which must be paid in cash. Entrants are advised to purchase them early this week if possible before they sell out.

The trail will run On Saturday and Sunday (April 3 and April 4) between 10am and 5pm.

Organiser Jack Barton said: " All proceeds will be given to the school. We are hoping it will be a huge success as due to Covid-19, our charity has hardly been able to raise funds at all in the last 12 months."

Jack added there may also be "an extra Easter Bunny surprise" in the village.
