Bourne Outdoor Pool hosts charity swimmer raising money for the Rainbow Trust
A schoolgirl who wanted to challenge herself has successfully completed a two-mile swim for charity.
Ebony Cuffe surprised her parents when she said she wanted to take her swimming lessons a step further and take on the challenge.
The 10-year-old set about researching a charity to support and came up with the Rainbow Trust which helps children with life-limiting illnesses.
Ebony, who lives in Morton with parents Melissa and Matthew, trained three times a week at Bourne Outdoor Pool ahead of the swim.
Melissa said: "We're extremely proud of Ebony for the time she has spent training and her determination to complete the challenge.
"She was nervous about doing it because she didn't want to let anyone down."
Ebony, a pupil at Bourne Westfield Primary Academy, completed the swim in 1hr 35min.
She swam 68 lengths of a 48 metre pool and raised £1,200 for the charity.
