Bourne Grammar School, Oundle School and Uppingham School named in Sunday Times Parent Power List for 2023




Schools in our area have been named among the highest achievers for secondary education in the region.

Bourne Grammar School was ranked third in The Sunday Times Parent Power List’s top 20 state and grammar schools for the East Midlands for the second year running.

Oundle School was third in the top 10 independent secondary schools in the East Midlands, with Uppingham School ranked fourth, one place higher than last year.

The newspaper publishes an annual list identifying the highest-achieving schools in the UK based on their own criterion.

Lincolnshire filled the top five slots in the state and grammar schools list, which was topped by King’s School, in Grantham, with Caistor Grammar School in second, while half of the top 20 schools were from the county.

Nottingham High School was ranked as the top independent school in the East Midlands ahead of Loughborough Grammar School.
