Secondary school open evening dates in Stamford, Bourne, Oakham and Casterton




Secondary school staff will welcome prospective pupils at a series of open days across the area.

Last year most events took place online because of Covid-19 restrictions.

The events will take place as follows:

  • The Deepings School - the main open evening is this evening (Thursday, September 23) between 5.30pm and 8pm. Discovery mornings will take place at 9.30am on October 4,6,12,14,19, 21 and 29. Call 01778 342159 to book.
  • Stamford Welland Academy - Tuesday, September 28 with a welcome at 5pm, a tour and activities at 5.30pm and a talk from the headteacher at 6.30pm. No appointments necessary.
  • Stamford High School and Stamford School - Saturday, October 2. To book a place call 01780 750311 or visit stamfordschools.org.uk/open-day
  • Casterton College - Wednesday, October 6 from 6-8pm. No booking required.
  • Bourne Academy - Thursday, September 30 from 5.30-8pm. The headteacher will give presentations at 5.45pm and 6.45pm. No booking required.
  • Catmose College, Oakham -Wednesday, October 6 from 5.30-7.30pm. Places for two presentations are fully booked but will be screened live around the college. The principal will host a presentation only, without a school tour, on Monday, October 4 at 4pm. Book online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/catmosecollege

Bourne Grammar School cancelled its open evening this month. The next event will take place in June, 2022. Uppingham Community College has already hosted its open evening.
