It was almost a white Christmas this year as snow fell across the area on Boxing Day.
Plenty of people braved the cold to enjoy the wintery conditions, with snowmen popping up everywhere.
We’ve already been sent some great pictures of the snow, but we’d love to see some more. Send yours to the newsdesk and they could appear in this week’s papers.
The weather will remain cold until Wednesday, with temperatures as low as 1C, before rising to 11C on Thursday. Roads across the area are still icy and police have warned motorists to take care.
