Comic Relief, Children in Need and the BBC join forces to host The Big Night In to raise the nation's spirits and support good causes which need help as the country tackles the coronavirus
Comic Relief, Children in Need and the BBC have joined forces to celebrate the acts of kindness, humour and resilience that is keeping the nation going during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Big Night In will be screened on BBC1 tonight (Thursday) to offer some light relief while celebrating and rewarding those going the extra mile to support their communities in these troubled times.
The live star-studded show will feature some of the country’s favourite famous faces trying to support, entertain, cheer up and help out anyone who needs any or all of those things.
The show runs form 7pm until 10pm and will include big surprises, ‘money can’t buy’ prizes, live music performances from the artists’ home and many famous faces.
Members of the public have also been asked to take part.
Strictly Come Dancing professionals have been teaching a dance routine online this week and are asking viewers to send in their videos to be shown on air.
Adventurer Bear Grylls has also challenged scouts across the country to join the Great Indoors Hike to the Moon. He hopes collectively the nation's beavers, cubs, scouts and leaders can walk 240,000 miles to raise money for Comic Relief and Children in Need.
We also want to hear what you've got planned for The Big Night In.
Have you been learning the Strictly routine or enjoying a walk as part of Bear's challenge? Or maybe you're hosting an online party with friends and enjoying the show together.
