Shed fire in Wansford took 2 hours to put out




Firefighters spent two hours fighting a shed fire in Wansford yesterday (Thursday, December 21).

Crews were called to a shed fire on Peterborough Road in Wansford at 4.25pm.

Firefighters arrived to find a shed well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus, crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe, used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 6.20pm.

The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
