Elsea Park Community Trust in Bourne asks residents opinion
People are being asked if they think a shuttle bus service is needed.
The service would collect people from around the Elsea Park estate in Bourne and take them to the bus stop on South Road near Aykroft, from where further services run. It could also take them into the town centre.
The shuttle bus service would be paid for by residents of the estate through the annual fee, rather than by people paying per journey.
A survey is being conducted by Elsea Park Community Trust and, according to its chairman Jono Brough, responses so far are divided.
He said: “We want to spend residents’ money wisely, and in the way they want it to be spent. This is why we decided to put the shuttle bus idea out for consultation.”
