Bourne tip among household waste recycling centres discussed by Lincolnshire County Council




Complaints about fly-tipping and the booking system for council tips were among concerns discussed at a meeting today (Wednesday, June 2).

Members of Lincolnshire County Council's executive played down links between the current booking system and an increase in fly-tipping, but did debate potential solutions.

Some councillors stressed the importance of getting back to pre-pandemic normality while others advocated a mixture of booked slot and free-to-visit hours. Some voiced their support for keeping booking systems in place altogether.
