Uppingham singer-songwriter Fe Salomon releases new EP
Singer-songwriter Fe Salomon has released new tracks in the build-up to her upcoming debut album.
Uppingham-based Fe has released four-track EP Taxicabs, a follow-up to her debut single Super Human.
Taxicabs is available on iTunes and via www.fesalomon.com
Fe, who has been compared to Alison Goldfrapp and Stevie Nicks, said the alternative/pop collection is about survival, friendships, relationships and loneliness.
"It’s probably the most intimate piece of work I’ve done," she said.
"These songs bring back a whirlwind of memories, good, bad and indifferent, all of which have shaped me into who I am today.”
In September she plans to release Quintessential England - a tribute to life in Rutland following a move from London four years ago.
Her debut album Living Rooms was originally scheduled for June, but has been pushed back to next January to incorporate a limited run of vinyl.
