SKDC election results at the Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham, May 2023




Successful candidates gaining a seat on South Kesteven District Council are being announced.

Ballot papers arrived from polling stations across the district, joining the postal votes that people began counting on the evening of Thursday, May 4.

The count took place at Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham, with many candidates attending to hear the results.

Overall, no party has gained a majority. The council before the election was made up of 36 Conservatives, four Democratic Independents, three Liberal Democrat, four unaligned Independents, three AllianceSK, three Independents, two from the Labour and Co-operative party and one vacant seat which was Conservative.

The town and parish council results will be announced after the full council declaration is made.
