Holiday Activities and Food Programme at Wildcats Theatre School was a success




Young performers brushed up on their acting, singing and dancing skills at a government-funded holiday programme.

Wildcats Theatre School in Stamford was part in the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) in the Easter holidays, helping to keep children entertained.

The programme is open to families who receive free school meals and encourages children to keep active throughout school holidays.

Teachers delivered performing arts classes from the Stamford Methodist Church Hall with Second Helpings providing food for the youngsters.

Caz Dolby, director of Wildcats said: "Our HAF programme is extremely popular - having run at Christmas and now Easter.

"Our 16 day summer programme is already booked and I know our families cannot wait to sign up."

Caz describes the feedback as 'excellent' with one parent saying 'the team managed to work off some bottled energy' from her excitable child.
