Stamford influencer Colin Furze is the UK's most successful car-fluencer, making £509,000 a year from YouTube and Instagram posts according to comparison website Go Compare




Stamford influencer Colin Furze has topped a UK list of car influencers based on their followings on YouTube and Instagram put together by comparison website Go Compare.

Comparison site GoCompare has released the international 'carfluencer rich list' revealing who's earning the most, outlining the potential yearly earnings of the top car influencers’ based on their mass followings on both YouTube and Instagram.

Colin placed second worldwide, and first in the UK as the best carfluencer with Go Compare claiming Colin earns more than half a million a year by rebuilding cars. As well as cars, he also invented this bike and built a Star Wars Landspeeder for the BBC Children in Need appeal which he drove through Stamford town centre.

Go Compare said: "Colin does more than just own expensive cars - he takes them apart, builds them from scratch, and makes a tonne of other extravagant inventions in his spare time, which keep his 10.1 million YouTube subscribers entertained.

"His average views combined with his Instagram following of 328k means he can command £10k per post on his channels! This yearly income is enough to add two Porsche's or a Lamborghini Aventador S to add to his collection."

Go Compare puts his estimated yearly income at £509,000 - the equivalent of £1,394.52 a day.

Colin's workshop was recently named a finalist in the Cuprinol Shed of the Year competition.

Topping the list was Supercarblondie Alex, originally from Australia. "She owns an impressive range of exotic cars, posting regular updates of them driving around town and entertaining her friends," says the report.

"A video showing her perform a classic Tik Tok dance in front of a Bugatti attracted 3.4 million views and her huge following on Instagram of 6 million gives her the power to command £20,130 ($25,162) per single Instagram post!"

Her estimated yearly income: £1,116,222.29 ($1,406,440.09), equating to a daily income of £3,058 ($3,853). This could buy a SLR McLaren 722s Roadster.
