Stamford College receives donation from Howdens trade kitchen suppliers




The Stamford branch of trade kitchen supplier Howdens has donated 20 doors to Stamford College.

They will be used to give Level 2 and 3 carpentry students practice in hanging doors, and apprentices on day release at the college.

Lecturer Ian Sargent said: "We have set up a new area so that learners can put the donation to good use.”

Sophie Gray, assistant manager at Howdens Stamford, said: "We wanted to give a little something to the community which could be practical as well as helpful.

"The doors were discontinued and we’re glad they’ve been put to good use."
