Met Office warns of thunderstorms as yellow weather warning issued for Lincolnshire and Rutland
With the sun finally shining it may feel like summer has just arrived, but wet weather is on the way.
The Met Office has warned heavy showers and thunderstorms could cause disruption later this week.
A yellow weather warning covering Lincolnshire and Rutland has been issued for Thursday (August 1) from 12pm.
There is a chance that spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and road closures as well as cancellations to train and bus services.
Homes and businesses could be flooded with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds, the Met Office has warned.
