Superdrug in Stamford High Street closed
A high street chemist has had to close suddenly due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.
The Superdrug store on the corner of High Street and Ironmonger Street in Stamford has a notice in its window today (Tuesday, October 20) apologising to customers.
The shop is usually open seven days a week and the pharmacy dispenses prescriptions weekdays and Saturdays.
Today people with urgent prescriptions to collect were being directed to contact their GP again, or to phone the NHS on 111.
Superdrug was not answering calls on its local phone number, or on the national customer helpline earlier today.
