The Lodge Trust at Market Overton received £780 to fund its work with adults with learning disabilities.

Central England Co-op awarded the donations to help charities during the coronavirus lockdown.

Chief executive Debbie Robinson said: “Now more than ever being a co-operative business that sits at the heart of our communities is so important.

“We are delighted that these great projects have been handed a grant that will allow them to continue their fantastic work at this uncertain time.

“Community dividend fund grants like this showcase how shopping at your local Co-op allows us to fund vital projects.”
