Bourne Galletly Medical Practice is ranked in the top five per cent nationally following a patient survey

Patient feedback has placed a healthcare team in the top five per cent nationally.

Bourne Galletly Medical Practice was ranked 346th out of 6,658 surgeries in England following this year’s GP Practice National Survey.

It is also the third highest-rated surgery which falls under the Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

Practice partner Paul Cregor says the feedback is particularly special as it comes directly from patients.

He said: “We are all thrilled and feel so proud.

“Everyone in the team has been working incredibly hard, from the housekeeping team and admin through to clinical staff.

“It’s lovely to have this recognition from the patients and to know they appreciate our efforts.

“During the past 18 months the staff have worked hard in really difficult circumstances.

“The beginning of covid was a scary time but we were all still coming in to work because we felt that was the best place to be.

“Everyone really pulled together.”

The rankings are based on the results of a patient survey.

Topics include the telephone systems, availability of appointments and the level of care received.

Ninety-three per cent of patients rated their overall experience as good, against a national average of 65 per cent.

Lakeside Healthcare in Stamford was listed 6,008th nationally. Five other Lincolnshire practises ranked lower.
