National Pizza Day: Best places for pizza in the Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and Market Deeping area, according to Google and Tripadvisor




If you're looking for a delicious pizza to devour this National Pizza Day there are plenty of options.

A whole day dedicated to pizza is marked each year on February 9.

A taste of Neapolitan cuisine brought to Sheepmarket with pizza cooked in a bespoke oven imported from Italy.

The February specials at Pizza Da Mario are the Pollo (San Marzano tomato, parmigiano, mozzarella fior di latte , pulled chicken, pancetta and fresh spring onions) and the Verdura (ricotta cheese & basil pesto base, parmigiano, mozzarella fior di latte, roasted peppers, olives, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, red onions and balsamic vinegar glaze).

Part of the Knead Pubs chain, the pub in St Paul's Street offers large pizzas on its extensive menu.

As well as the signature roasted duck and katsu calzone pizzas and lunchtime pizza wraps, different toppings can be chosen from a long list of options.

The pizza and drink offer is also a win if you fancy a tipple with your meal.
