The likes of Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden are coming to Birdfair 2019 in Rutland
Celebrate nature and enjoy three amazing days of wildlife talks and events at this year’s Birdfair from Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18 August.
Visitors can join Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, Hannah Stitfall, Isabella Tree, Philip Lymbery and Tony Juniper for a Question Time session on Friday evening.
The ticketed event will look at the current state of wildlife.
On Saturday visitors can listen to talks from passionate conservationists, such as broadcasters Mike Dilger and Mary Colwell and chat to young conservationists in a variety of roles in career speed dating sessions.
Also on Saturday, Chris Packham, Dr Mark Avery and Ruth Tingay will be interviewed on stage by Charlie Jacoby from the Fieldsports Channel on the issues surrounding General Licenses.
Other attractions include: fun quiz sessions, wildlife cruises on Rutland Water, the Bird Photographer of the Year Awards with Chris Packham, local food market and for young families, a production of The Lion King and fun wildlife themed events and activities.
Entry ticket covers all the daytime events. Separate tickets can be purchased for evening events and cruises. Accompanied under 18’s admitted free. Parking for Birdfair is free of charge.
