Top fundraiser tabled by Bourne Salvation Army




A coffee morning and table top sale staged by Bourne Salvation Army raised a wonderful £166.

The event at the Salvation Army hall on Manning Road ran from 10am to midday on Saturday, with bargain hunters packing the hall at times.

Treasurer Charles Green said: “The event went very well . We made £166 and that will go into Salvation Army funds. It was our first sale of 2019. We always have one on the last Saturday of every month.

Charles added: “He It was a great turnout. We had a full hall during the morning.”

Among the many happy volunteers and member s at the coffee morning were (pictured) Joan Thompson, Ann Crump and Kath Fong who all served up a tasty treat.
